Love to Draw
Alex Petkovic is an Artist based in the heart of the East Sussex Countryside, specialising in illustration she has covered many topics and subjects, from personal requests to conservation images.
Studying Illustration with Brighton university gave Alex the boost in life to follow the childhood passion she loves the most, drawing. her love and passion she has for animals and the natural history is shown in the results of her work.
Taking a step away from the fast paced industry of running an award winning spa for 10 years, Alex is now able to take on commissions and projects and put her skills where her heart lies in art. Taking away from the industry the ability to run and succeed to a high standard.
Growing up with the life time inspirations of the likes of Winnie the Pooh, Wind in the Willows, Alice in Wonderland, Lord of the Rings and many more magical creations, being able to enter someone else's world of fantasy has inspired her to create, make and produce high detailed images within her illustrations.
Using pen and ink Alex creates highly detailed images in a soft graphical context showing her passion for animals.
